        TweetsOfSumit We moved quite a bit outside of Stuttgart because it just wasn’t realistic for us to pay the market prices for a small house closer to the city. And we signed the contract for our house in 2019 when prices had already gone up at lot. Since then, prices have skyrocketed even more.

      TweetsOfSumit But I constantly wonder the same. How many millionaires are there in Germany – or are they all living far above their pay grades because interest rates are still so low? 🤯

    TweetsOfSumit One must also not forget that much of the wealth out there is inherited, though, and that it was much cheaper to build/buy a house in 1950/60/70 that you can now sell for a ridiculous price.
